• Identifies medications from images using AI technology
• Provides patient-friendly drug information in English and Arabic
• Offers professional/technical drug data for healthcare providers
• Allows users to save and export medication reports

The App is provided free of charge for informational purposes only.

• Use the App to violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to overwhelm our servers (e.g., denial-of-service attacks)
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Impersonate others or provide false information

• You are responsible for entering accurate patient information
• Verify medication identification results with a healthcare professional
• Do NOT rely solely on the App for critical medical decisions

5.2 Account Security

• Protect your device from unauthorized access
• Do not share sensitive medical information with unauthorized persons
• Clear app data if your device is lost or stolen

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Medication Identifier or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

6.1 Third-Party Content

• Drug information is sourced from AI models and public medical databases
• We do not claim ownership of drug information from public sources
• References to specific medications do not constitute endorsement

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.

Key Privacy Points:

• Patient information is stored locally on your device only
• Medication queries may be cached on our servers for up to 180 days
• Images uploaded are processed but NOT permanently stored
• We comply with GDPR and data protection laws

8. Accuracy and Reliability

8.1 No Warranties

While we strive for accuracy, we make NO WARRANTIES regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of drug information
• The reliability of AI-based medication identification
• The App's availability, uptime, or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all devices or operating systems

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are NOT LIABLE for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App
• This includes but is not limited to: medical errors, misidentification of medications, adverse drug reactions, or health complications
• You assume all risk associated with using the information provided

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Medication Identifier, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Medical decisions made based on App information

The App uses third-party services including:

• Google Gemini API: AI-powered medication information
• MyMemory Translation API: Language translation services
• MongoDB Atlas: Database for caching responses
• Vercel: Hosting and serverless functions

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service failures or data handling practices.

12. Updates and Modifications

12.1 App Updates

• We may update the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance
• Updates may require re-downloading the App or syncing data
• Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of changes
